In
January 2004, we took delivery of our Mobile Surgery. The fully
equipped Renault Master van allows us to bring our vets’ and
nurses’ expertise to some of Salisbury’s surrounding
villages and more isolated communities. The van is a fully functioning
consulting room on wheels, offering all that an appointment at
our Endless Street practice consulting rooms can, and is equipped
with seating and a covered waiting area. Any major procedures
will be referred to the surgical team at the main Endless Street
site as usual.
We currently
visit Winterslow, Morgans Vale, Downton, Whiteparish and Bishopstone
on an appointment basis,
and in time we hope to extend the service to reach a greater number
of local villages. Our aim will be to offer a reliable, convenient,
high standard of veterinary care for people who wish to see the
vet without having to travel into Salisbury because of the inconvenience
or an inability to travel.
