  • Waiting Room

    Waiting Room

Our waiting room area has separate areas for cats and dogs to reduce the stress of your visit.

  • Organized Food Fight

    Consulting Rooms

We have three large consulting rooms providing excellent facilities for the examination of your pets. All rooms are equipped with a computer so that your pet's case notes are easily accessed as soon as you step through the door.

  • Hospital Accommodation

    Accommodation

There are three separate kennelling areas within the practice providing accommodation for our patients including an isolation area for pets with infectious conditions.

  • Preparation Area

    Preparation Area

We have a dedicated "Prep Area" where animals undergo minor procedures or are prepared for their operations.

  • Operating Theatre

    Operating Theatres

We have two purpose built operating theatres in our modern state of the art operating suite. Equipment for monitoring your pet in these rooms include oesophageal stethoscopes, pulse oximeters, Doppler blood pressure monitor and electrocardiography.

  • Digital Radiography

    Digital Radiography

We have a state of the art digital x-ray system capable of radiographing patients from mice to Great Danes.

New digital technology has now replaced photographic film, thereby avoiding the need for films and developers. The images are displayed on the computer in seconds after taking the exposure instead of minutes, and can be edited and adjusted as needed to get a diagnostic image of excellent quality. This means a shorter anaesthetic time for your pet. Images are stored electronically and can be sent to specialists for a second opinion or to referral centres by email rather than post.

The system is cleaner, more efficient and of much better quality and therefore we can offer a better service without any increase in our prices. As the system does not require as much x-ray radiation for the exposure, the system is also safer for both the animals and operators.

We also have an additional x-ray machine specifically for use in patients with dental disease.

  • Ultrasound

    Ultrasound

Our ultrasound scanner is one of the latest models, designed for detailed abdominal and cardiac investigations. Other diagnostic equipment available includes an endoscope for a range of internal examinations, a Doppler blood pressure monitor and a tonometer for measuring pressure in the eye.

  • Laboratory

    Laboratory

We have a well equipped mini-laboratory providing an on-site service, backed up by our main laboratory which is located at our Equine Hospital. Samples requiring biochemical, haematological, cytological, microbiological and parasitological analysis can be processed by our two laboratories.

  • Administration Offices

    Administration Offices

Located upstairs we have our administration offices with our behind the scenes staff who contribute so much to the smooth running of the services we offer - answering the phone, completing insurance claim forms and dealing with account queries and much more.
